In Liverpool, England the Grand National Hunt horse race is held every year. It is a steeplechase that’s over 4 miles long. The Aintree National Course, where the race is held, is extremely difficult because the fences are larger than those of other national race courses.

It has the largest purse of any jump race in Europe with the winner taking home over one million pounds. At this year’s race there was a false start! Read the following links:
