I have a dog that I adopted from an animal shelter three years ago and I love him! He is part of our family. He takes his job of protecting and watching over our family seriously. When someone is outside and other family members are inside he comes in and out of the house to make certain that everyone is still okay. He’s worn out at night, but the slightest movement alerts him and he gets up to check things out. Imagine if he were taken away from us and placed in a shelter. It happens to dogs every day.
